I have started another OpArt blanket, lets hope it goes better this time. My dead line is December 14 for a baby shower at church and so far its not looking to bad.
Tonight it is cold and I'm struggling though the final days of homework so I'm snuggled up in a feather blanket with a pipping hot bowl of oatmeal.
In my hurry to finish the Koolhaas hat I made to to short, so I'm going to have to rip back a couple of inches (yea) and add another cable chart repeat. But, other than that it looks great!
I received the latest Knits magazine the other day and its actually a pretty good issue.
This scarf/hood combo is on the definitely must knit list and so is this tote. I also like this sweater and this hat. I guess I'm still obsessed with hats and mittens and accessories in general.
Last night we went to the movies and saw Bolt. It was very cute, I give it two thumbs up. Today is catch up on housework and start on my take home finals.
I just finished a crazy week - tons of homework! But that's all forgotten now because I got a package of yarn in the mail today!
Knit Pick's Telemark in the aubergine colorway:
That's for these mittens.
Another ball of Wool of the Andes sapphire heather,
to finish my current project (photos to follow).
Gloss fingering weight in dusk,
for these fingerless mitts.
And my current project is one I've wanted to do for a long time and I decided to make it to match these mittens that I made a couple of weeks ago.
Its the Koolhaas hat and I love it!!
The cables are awesome!
Its moving along pretty quickly too. I've got to go and make birthday plans, today's Marcus' birthday!
